Salome Akhvlediani is the Co-Founder of Sustainability International Consulting and serves as a lecturer at the Sustainability Science Academy. She is also an Assistant Professor at the Business and Technology University (BTU) in Georgia, where she teaches courses in finance and managerial accounting.
With over 12 years of professional experience, she has held several leadership positions, including Head of the Finance Department, Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Financial Manager, and Financial Analyst. Her expertise includes corporate financial management and strategic budgeting, with a particular emphasis on integrating sustainable financial practices into the operational and strategic frameworks of private sector organizations.
She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Tbilisi State University and is currently a PhD candidate in Business Administration. Her doctoral research examines the role of managerial accounting in advancing financial sustainability, with particular attention to ESG integration, non-financial reporting, and the implementation of sustainability reporting frameworks within the hospitality industry.
Salome Akhvlediani has published articles in peer-reviewed academic journals and has participated in both local and international conferences. She is also the author of a proprietary course titled Personal Finance Management | 360°, which offers a comprehensive approach to individual financial well-being.
