French Courses – A1 (Beginners) and B1 Levels

Teacher: courses will be taught by a French native speaker teacher (fluent in English): Anastasia Primakoff

Content of Courses:  both A1 (Beginners) and B1 Levels are options to start and proceed

Fees: 200 GEL per months and in total 600 GEL (for 3 months). Fees can be paid monthly, i.e. 200 GEL per month (through bank transfer)

Course Length: three (3) months = 26 lectures/sessions (2 sessions per week, each session – 1 hour).

• Start dates: 31 March and 1 April (depending A1 - Beginners or B1 level), 2025
• End dates: 26 and 27 June (depending A1 - Beginners and B1), 2025
• Lecture days (the following possible options):

Mondays 11.30 – 12.30 and Thursdays 11.30 – 12.30 (A1 level - Beginners)

or

Tuesdays 11.30 - 12.30 and Fridays 11.30 – 12.30 (B1 level)

• Lecture duration: 1 hour
• Lectures per week: 2 (2 hours)
• Total number of lectures: 26 (26 hours)

Note: it is also an option, to pay 100 GEL after registration in order to enrol in a group and then to proceed to monthly payments (in such case 100 GEL will be deducted from the overall fee of 600 GEL for 3 months).

Course Format: HyFlex (Hybrid-Frexible). HyFlex teaching combines face-to-face and online learning. Each lecture of the course is offered in-person, synchronously online via Zoom, and asynchronously online (through video recordings) i.e. for students who may not be able to connect to Zoom on a given day

Course Prerequisite: 

Some basic knowledge of the English language is an advantage, however not an absolute prerequisite since the French language will be language of instruction.

No exams for admission will be held. Proof certificates are not mandatory, however, a short conversation might take place in order to ascertain appropriate level
